Church Partners with Frederick Rescue Mission to Serve Local Community

Frederick, MD — On June 16, 2026, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. EDT, Church of the Redeemer will partner with the Frederick Rescue Mission to support its ongoing efforts to serve individuals and families experiencing hardship in the Frederick community.

The event will provide an opportunity for volunteers to come alongside the mission’s work, which includes offering residential programs for women and mothers with children facing homelessness, as well as recovery programs for men overcoming substance use disorders and housing instability. In addition, the mission provides food, clothing, shoes, and personal care items to individuals experiencing poverty and food insecurity.

Organizers say the partnership reflects a shared commitment to meeting both physical and spiritual needs within the community. “This is an opportunity to serve with compassion and purpose,” said event leaders. “The Frederick Rescue Mission is doing vital work, and we are honored to support their efforts to bring hope, restoration, and connection to those in need.”
