Credit Union Association of New Mexico Adds Rippleshot to Its Collaboration Lineup for New Mexico Credit Unions

ALBUQUERQUE, NM, UNITED STATES, August 27, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — The Credit Union Association of New Mexico has added Rippleshot to its lineup of collaboration partners, giving New Mexico credit unions access to valuable, proactive tools for detecting and stopping fraud before it reaches their members.

The Association advances credit union success across New Mexico through advocacy, education, and collaboration. Fraud prevention is already part of that work with the Association’s Stop Fraud NM initiative which helps New Mexico credit unions educate members about scams ranging from imposter calls to employment schemes to romance scams. Adding Rippleshot extends that same commitment to the institutional side of the fight, giving credit unions the tools to catch fraud before it ever reaches a member.

“Fighting fraud is a multi-faceted endeavor. Rippleshot will give our credit unions one more tool to use to keep the over one million New Mexican credit union members safer from frauds and scams,” said Melia D. Heimbuck, President and CEO of Credit Union Association of New Mexico.
Through the partnership, New Mexico credit unions gain access to Rippleshot’s Fraud Interceptor and Fraud Intelligence Collective, giving fraud teams a proactive way to catch threats early and a trusted network of peers to lean on when something looks off.

“It’s easy to talk about protecting members in the abstract, but the Association’s team never lost sight of the fact that there’s a real person behind every one of the more than a million New Mexicans their credit unions serve. That perspective shaped how we approached this partnership and we’re looking forward to giving their credit unions a real edge against the fraud coming at those members,” said Nalani Brown, VP of Operations at Rippleshot.

Credit unions can start the conversation through the Association or at rippleshot.com.
