Manzanita Makes An Entrance on Fabric Row

An opening party and first look on November 7, with cocktails, flowers, house music and a taste of what’s to come.

PHILADELPHIA, PA, UNITED STATES, November 3, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Dress for an entrance. Stay for the dance floor.

On Saturday, November 7, from 7–11 p.m., Manzanita welcomes Philadelphia into its evolving Fabric Row space at 711 South Fourth Street for an opening party: a cocktail soirée that gives way to a house party, with a killer collection available to shop.

The evening is a celebration and first look, with the space arranged for gathering and dancing. The fuller, everyday shopping experience will take shape over the following weeks. Manzanita’s original shop at 42nd and Baltimore remains open for regular shopping.

Founded by stylist and urban practitioner Dorit Avganim, Manzanita brings its signature mix of contemporary vintage, thoughtful gifts and everyday opulence to Philadelphia’s historic Fabric Row. The party invites guests to help set the mood for what the space will become.

“We’re throwing the party first,” says Avganim. “I want to fill this room with people, music and possibility, then build the store around the feeling we make together. There will be beautiful things to take home that night, and more to come back for.”

Founded by stylist and urban practitioner Dorit Avganim, Manzanita brings its signature mix of contemporary vintage, thoughtful gifts and everyday opulence to Philadelphia’s historic Fabric Row. The opening is an invitation to experience the space in full—and to share in the pleasure of bringing distinct people, objects and ideas together.

“For me, luxury is in the details: the way a person feels when they enter, the way a room comes together, and the care that makes the whole experience feel effortless,” says Avganim.

For the opening party, those details come courtesy of a Philadelphia cast worth celebrating:
ACE Outpost brings the evening’s espresso to its martinis.
Pitruco Pizza serves its wood-fired, Neapolitan-style pizzas, made with naturally leavened dough and seasonal ingredients.
Walter Pine Flowers brings the blooms and botanical drama.
Loren Heywood, the Full Moon Fool, takes the evening into motion with a house set.
George Frueh of FRU Wear brings live screen printing, with event-exclusive swag to mark the occasion.

Each brings its own point of view to an evening devoted to the pleasure of getting dressed, going out and being there.
